Economics Research Seminar Series: Charles Noussair
Charles Noussair (University of Arizona) will present his paper "Sequential Search with a Price Freeze Option: Theory and Experimental Evidence" at the Economics Research Seminar Series.
Professor Charles Noussair will also be the Keynote Speaker at the upcoming CPMD Workshop on Behavioural Economics and its applications to policy and industry on Friday, 29th November and presenting his new paper on the value of an artwork, entitled "Colors, Emotions, and the Auction Value of Paintings" which shows that red and blue colour in a painting can increase its value.

About the Keynote Speaker
Professor Charles Noussair is an internationally leading academic in Experimental Economics, Financial Markets, Game Theory, and Neuroeconomics. Charles is at the Eller College of Management, University of Arizona, where he also is the Director of the Economic Science Laboratory. He received his PhD in Social Science from California Institute of Technology, USA, in 1993.
He has worked in the US (Emory University and Krannert School of Management, Purdue University), and the Netherlands (Erasmus University Rotterdam and Tilburg University), before moving to the University of Arizona in 2015 as Eller Professor of Economics. His current research interests include how individuals deal with risky decisions and how they solve collective action problems, as well as the impact of emotions in economic decision-making.
