My name is Matilda Coy and I am a graduate of the Masters of Creative Intelligence and Strategic Innovation.
I am a Place Strategist at Frost* Collective and the Founder of the Georgie Collective.
What I took away from this course is understanding how to problem solve differently and understanding that everything is interconnected. And looking at things with a bigger, broader lens.
What surprised me a lot about the course was that I didn't expect to have the network that I've made through this course. I've met people across all different industries, business owners, C-suite representatives, and people who are really making organisational change in their own right, who bring their visions to life.
I think my qualification helps me in the day-to-day in a lot of diverse ways. I think I am able to bring a new perspective that really centres and appreciates creativity in the problem-solving space.
What’s great about the course is that it is designed for people who work full time. There was a lot of flexibility, which empowered you to work full-time and study.
You are constantly learning not just from the teachers and their academics, but you're learning from your peers as well, which I think is really powerful and really transformative.
If you're thinking about doing one of the Creative Intelligence and Strategic Innovation courses, I couldn't recommend it more highly.
You see behind the smoke and mirrors of organisations, and you understand your values and need to make a change.
The energy that comes from understanding your values in academic space is something that can't be articulated in a course description, but it's really amazing.
