The research and teaching in the School of Life Sciences covers three key disciplines:

Medical Science

Investigates significant chronic diseases including cancer, diabetes and metabolic disorders including obesity, neuroscience and neurodegenerative disorders, as well as respiratory diseases that together constitute a large proportion of the healthcare burden.
