This project is a collaboration between Master of Design students and Centennial Parklands. The aim is to increase visitor awareness of the ecological biodiversity in the Park. More specifically, the signage installations aim to reconnect visitors with the smaller native birds in ‘outer wilds’ of the park by showcasing how remarkable they truly are. The designs play an important role in ecological education by creating a visual context through engaging signage. This helps enhance the presence of the less conspicuous creatures that are sometimes overlooked, like the small birds depicted in the installations.
