The Parramatta Road corridor through Auburn is ripe for redevelopment and is typical of the complex planning situations faced when master planning a precinct. Working in teams, students are asked how the Parramatta Road corridor might be re-imaged from a master planning perspective. Students research the site, regulatory frameworks, market conditions, and metropolitan planning priorities in order to develop a feasible masterplan for the redevelopment of the precinct. Master planning includes an evaluation of the financial feasibility of the redevelopment proposal.
