Powerhouse Late: Climate
An evening of student and community-led workshops, performances, screenings and more.
Young scientists, designers, artists and activists are collaborating across disciplines and generations to take meaningful action on climate change. Inspired by 100 Climate Conversations, this evening will feature student and community-led workshops exploring the power of symbol and storytelling to fuel the climate movement. Group discussions will centre on how the strength and resilience needed to build a sustainable future can be found in community.
Climate action imagery by UTS Visual Communications students will be shown throughout the event.
Their work was produced in an 'Information Visualisation and Data Illustration' project led by Zoë Sadokierski, in third-year Visual Communication subject Design Practice, coordinated by Nicky Hardcastle.
The event is free, but RSVPs are recommended.
