A starting point to meet our TD thinkers and become an industry partner.
Short engagements are typically within ‘schools’ – intensive, block-mode subjects running for approximately two to three weeks. Whether you’re interested in hearing undergraduate students’ innovative insights or sharing your expertise first-hand, there are a variety of engagement types including:
- presenting a brief on a relevant organisational challenge which students respond to proposing solutions
- sharing industry trends and insights on a panel with other professionals
- running a workshop on a methodology, concept or area of interest, or
- mentoring students individually or as a team.
Regardless of the type of engagement, you will be supported by the Subject Coordinator and Industry Partnerships team along the way.

Heart on My Sleeve
Last year Heart on My Sleeve partnered with the TD School. They came in as an industry partner in the winter school for first-year students studying the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation. Heart on My Sleeve (HOMS) pitched the students the issue – how do we break down stigma around mental health? We sat down with Bec the program coordinator from Heart on My Sleeve to get her perspective on what it is like to be an industry partner in a BCII School.

My Health Record
When Dr Nicole Vincent said she was on the prowl for an industry partner to explore the intersection of data and health with her Impossibilities to Possibilities students, MyHealth Record was an obvious choice. An important future-focused Government initiative, a current and exciting topic given the endless media coverage, and a clear opportunity to play a part in something of great social impact.

Celestino
Celestino is committed to leading the way for innovation in education. Through our ongoing partnership with UTS, we’re excited to reveal this unique challenge tackled by students enrolled in the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation degree. Using Sydney Science Park as a real-world scenario for the Envisaging Futures subject, students unleashed their limitless thinking to address complex challenges with a flurry of industry-disrupting solutions.
