Project management requires the application of a wide range of skills, and not all of them are easy to learn. Earned Value Management (EVM) is a well-known method to evaluate and monitor project performance, and relies on three main elements to measure the project performance, project schedule and project budget. This project uses a game-based learning approach which is exciting, fun, and proven to be a powerful teaching and learning tool. DELIVER is a low-cost board game focusing on EVM and how to calculate the various measures required in practice. An evaluation survey found that the game promotes both cooperation and competition between the players and the overwhelming majority of students believe that the game provides a valuable contribution to the course.
