2017 UTS Venture Day

We're delighted that we're celebrating here the first Venture Day but also the end of the first year of this great program.

The panel of judges included:

We were treated to a glimpse of innovations that may drive efficiency and challenge the status quo.

Participants

The 2016/17 MBAe cohort was made up of individuals from different backgrounds with an average professional experience of 14 years, great motivation and big ideas. The strongest proposals were selected for public pitching in areas including technology, services, entertainment, education, logistics, social services and the not-for-profit sector.

    Investant is an intuitive investment platform that helps advisers and their clients plan and derisk their investments.

    Non-MBAe student, Winner of UTS Business School's 3P Competition
    An innovative gateway service that allows tradesmen to access one another's services on demand and with ease.
  • Peta Portelli - CouTech
    Shoes designed around your orthotic made-to-measure and customisable to help women get through the day in comfort and style.
  • Christian Raftery - Carrott
    A simple personal finance app to help manage your money and stop lazy cash.
  • Johan Svensson - GoBrain
    GoBrain is an over the counter supplement that gives back control to professionals, entrepreneurs and students through the optimisation of brain performance.
  • Elle Fleming, YuXin Kwan, Cory Mayfield, Theresa Nguyen, Jeremy Wijaya - Sendform
    Sendform is a platform that automates and simplifies the visa application process to connect people and streamline processes, for a peace of mind.
