Postgraduate application process
Applying for postgraduate study can be daunting, but we’re here to help!
1. Check you’re eligible
Checking the entry requirements for your course is the first step on your postgraduate journey! Some courses may consider work experience, a personal CV or require you to have industry experience, so it's important to check.
2. Attend an event
Speak to academics, current students, alumni and more. We know you have a busy schedule, so we’ve made sure to offer events both online and in person.
And if you’re keen to get information now, you can visit our on-demand page to catch up on the latest postgraduate information.
3. Apply
Unlike what you may have done for your undergraduate degree, you’ll apply straight to UTS for our postgraduate courses. Head over to My Student Portal to begin your application journey.
Tip: If you’re applying for a research degree, you’ll have a different process.
4. Check your financial options
HECS/HELP, Fee Help and CSP can be confusing to wrap your head around – but it's really important to know. Take a look at the range of financial assistance programs and loans.
5. Apply for Recognition of Prior Learning
Changing courses or moving to a Masters? You might be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning. Once you have received an offer of enrolment from UTS, and you’ve undertaken studies at another institution, you may be eligible to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning.
Still unsure about the process? You can chat to our postgraduate enquiries team on 1300 275 887. Alternatively, you can submit an online enquiry.
