Event FAQs

Registration queries
Do I need to register?
Yes, registration is necessary to attend UTS Info Day. Secure your spot.
Can guests attend?
Friends and family are welcome but will need to register.
Do I need to confirm attendance?
No need to re-confirm, but please cancel your ticket in advance if you can’t attend.
Do I need to book for activities?
No further registrations are required after signing up, but if you are interested in a particular activity, please arrive early as they are on a first come first serve basis.
Can I change or cancel my ticket?
You can modify or cancel your ticket via the confirmation email received upon registration. Simply click “update order” in the email. This will open an internet browser where you can update your order details. To cancel your ticket, select the refunds tab.

On the day
Are there online Info Day activities?
While there won't be any specific online activities for Info Day, we have a number of online activities available throughout the year where you can get your questions answered and get a taste of life at UTS!
What is the check-in process?
Present your unique QR code from the confirmation email for check-in with one of our friendly staff in Building 1, Level 4. Please bring your ticket confirmation with your QR code on the day either as a print-out or on your phone. If you haven’t registered before the event, you can register when you arrive.
What should I expect at Info Day?
Info Day provides a unique opportunity to gather the knowledge and resources necessary for making an informed decision about your academic and career future.
At Info Day you can:
- engage in personalised 1:1 consultations with UTS staff, including our Admissions team
- get your last-minute questions answered before the closure of UAC preferences
- explore the various alternate pathways and study options available to you
- discover the wide range of support services and how they can aid you in your economic journey
- chat directly with academics and current students from your desired course
- take a tour of our vibrant UTS city campus led by current students
Online access and facilities
Are there online Info Day activities?
While there won't be any specific online activities for Info Day, we have a number of online activities available throughout the year where you can get your questions answered and get a taste of life at UTS!

Does UTS have prayer rooms?
UTS hosts a visiting chaplaincy team and provides multifaith rooms on the city campus for use by religious groups of all genders. These rooms are situated in Building 3, level 5. For further information, please reach out to Joanna.Thyer@uts.edu.au.
I have accessibility needs, who do I talk to?
Contact FS.Events@uts.edu.au for any specific accessibility or communication requirements.
Please note:
- access ramps are available at all main entries and buildings that are utilised during the event
- accessible parking for visitors is situated in Building 10 (accessible via Thomas Street). Operated by InterPark, it is a paid parking facility
- infrared assistive listening systems is installed in our lecture theatres.
- accessible amenities are located at various points throughout the campus
