Overview
The Prize is awarded to the students’ works that demonstrate the most holistic architectural merit in Assessment 3 of 11278 Architectural Studio 6, in the 3rd year of the Bachelor of Design in Architecture.
Who is eligible?
To be eligible for the Prize, a candidate must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be enrolled in the Bachelor of Design in Architecture (C10004); or in the Bachelor of Design in Architecture/Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation (C10325).
- Have completed 11278 Architectural Studio 6 in the year for which the Prize is given.
Selection process
- The Prize will be awarded to student/s demonstrating the most holistic architectural merit in Assessment 3 of 11278 Architectural Studio 6 (in the year for which the Prize is awarded). This will be determined by the Selection Committee/Jury Review Panel, and is based on demonstrating the following learning outcomes of the subject to reflect the spirit and values of the Prize:
- Creative synthesis of complex ideas, arguments and rationales that address an array of social, technical and environmental practices;
- Technique-led architectural design processes tested against a range of architectural concerns;
- Response to a comprehensive brief within the disciplinary context; and
- Employment of critical thinking
