'Robots to the rescue'

Following a 6 month research collaboration with Honda Research Institute Japan Co Ltd, Maani Ghaffari Jadidi (PhD candidate) has been featured in the Research Special Issue of U:magazine. In the article, Maani gives us insight into his research interests and talks about his aspiration to develop a robot that can analyse complex sensory information to quickly and accurately make decisions in disaster zones and other dangerous environments. Acknowledgement of Country

UTS acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the Boorooberongal people of the Dharug Nation, the Bidiagal people and the Gamaygal people, upon whose ancestral lands our university stands.
