On 14 July 2015, Yahoo Labs announced A/Prof. Jaime Valls Miro as one of the 24 recipients of the 2015 Faculty Research and Engagement Program (FREP) award.
FREP is an academic outreach initiative designed to encourage collaboration and engagement between the award recipients and their Yahoo Research Scientist counterparts. Its aim is to explore solutions to complex problems and produce high quality research in areas of mutual interests over the course of the next year.
