We welcome all enquires from industry regarding collaboration on projects in audio, acoustics and vibration at UTS Tech Lab. This extends from short-term contract based work, to medium to longer-term research based projects.

SiteHive use vibration and acoustics labs to test multi-sensor devices

Sound level meters set up in Tech Lab's Fully Anechoic Chamber

SiteHive secured supported access to the Fully Anechoic Chamber to undertake testing with the Centre for Audio, Acoustics and Vibration, supervised by the National Measurement Institute, in accordance with IEC 61672 Electroacoustics – Sound Level Meters. 

SiteHive worked alongside CAAV's research team at UTS Tech Lab to develop a bespoke, automated test campaign integrating industry-standard Brüel & Kjær noise and vibration hardware and software acquisition and analysis solutions into their Python-scripted Jupiter Notebook.

Alstom: Long duration, high cycle durability test in bespoke modular chamber

CAAV- Alstom_Worthington Rail experimental setup in the structural testing lab

The project will run a durability/fatigue test for Alstom, in collaboration with first-tier rail supplier Worthington Rail.

CAAV's research team, based at UTS Tech Lab, will investigate and validate the design, assembly and lifetime durability of a commuter rail carbody floor panel assembly through a series of structural tests.
