IEEE TNNLS Outstanding Paper Award to Guodong Long and Team
Guodong Long and his team have won the IEEE CIS Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems Outstanding Paper Award 2024.
AAII's Guodong Long and Team win IEEE CIS Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems Outstanding Paper Award 2024
The paper titled “A Comprehensive Survey on Graph Neural Networks”, published by IEEE TNNLS 32(1), 4-24, 2021, has received the 2024 IEEE CIS Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems Outstanding Paper Award.
Co-authored by Zonghan Wu, Shirui Pan, Fengwen Chen, Guodong Long, Chengqi Zhang and Philip S Yu, the paper represents the efforts of a group of PhD students from UTS's AAII. It provides a comprehensive overview of graph neural networks (GNNs) in data mining and machine learning fields and proposes a new taxonomy to divide the state-of-the-art graph neural networks into four categories. The paper has been cited more than 5,800 times (Google Scholar, 13 July 2023), and is the number 1 most popular article published in the IEEE TNNLS journal.
The IEEE Computational Intelligence Society annually recognises significant contributions and meritorious service in the field of computational intelligence. IEEE TNNLS is a leading journal publishing technical articles dealing with the theory, design, and applications of neural networks and related learning systems. The journal’s impact factor is 14.255 for the 2022-2023 period.
Congratulations to Guodong Long and his team!
