AI 2000 Most Influential Scholar Award
Chengqi Zhang ranked #26 and Guodong Long ranked #38 world wide in AMiner’s annual list of Influential AI Scholars.
The AI 2000 Annual List in the field of AAAI/IJCAI selects the top 10 "most influential scholars" world wide and the next 90 scholars as "honorable mentions" each year. The purpose of this ranking is to recognise outstanding scholars who have contributed to the advancement and innovation of AAAI/IJCAI.
Among those receiving honorable mentions include AAII's Distinguished Professor Chengqi Zhang and Associate Professor Guodong Long.
D/Prof Zhang has been ranked #26 world wide. He is a member of AAII's Data Science and Knowledge Discovery (DSKD) lab, making prolific contributions to the fields of distributed artificial intelligence and data mining. Professor Zhang has published over 350 scholarly articles, many in first-class international journals, such as Artificial Intelligence, IEEE, and ACM Transactions. His body of work has attracted 29000+ citations and has an H-index of 70 (Google Scholar, 25/01/2024).
A/Prof Guodong Long has been ranked #38 world wide. A/Prof Long, Co-Director of AAII's Data Science and Knowledge Discovery (DSKD) lab, currently leads a research group to conduct application-driven research on machine learning and data science. Particularly, his research focuses on health data analysis, climate change and IoT as target application domains. A/Prof Long is currently seeking self-motivated PhD candidates to explore the research direction on federated learning and its applications.
