The Centre for Research on Education in a Digital Society welcomes high quality proposals from eligible higher degree research (HDR) candidates, at Masters by Research or PhD level.
Study with us
Prospective applicants should review the Graduate Research School guidance for deadlines, application details, and scholarship opportunities. We welcome applicants including those sponsored via an industry doctorate.
HDR candidates who are supervised by centre members, and researching topics relevant to the centre's research questions, are welcomed as associates of the centre. Centre associates are included in internal events, and supported in developing their research capacity in a collegiate centre environment. As associates, there may be opportunities to apply for seed funding via your supervisor, and to present your work to a critical supportive group of colleagues.
Depending on which faculty your primary supervisor is located in, your application may have different requirements. Generally, though, you will need to submit a proposal that shows a grasp of the field, and an indication of the research questions you want to address (you should tie these to the centre questions). We strongly recommend prospective applicants contact potential supervisors at the earliest opportunity to ensure support can be provided to develop your application well before the deadline.
