Famous for its motor racing circuit, Mount Panorama, in the NSW regional city of Bathurst, has also attracted international attention for its rare albino wallaroos, one of which is now confirmed dead.
The death has saddened researchers who are studying the local kangaroo population and highlighted ongoing efforts to improve human and animal interactions on the famous mountain.
