The Collaborative Degree Program allows candidates to undertake their PhD at both UTS and an international partner.
Collaborative doctoral research degrees
The Collaborative Doctoral Research Degree Program supports students to pursue a PhD across two universities. PhD projects are jointly supervised by prominent academics at UTS and one of our international partnering institutions. These degrees can give you international experience and the opportunity to take advantage of UTS’s strong industry and international partner links.
As a Collaborative Doctoral Research Degree Program student, you will:
- spend a substantive portion of your degree (minimum 1 year) at each university;
- gain access to world-leading research supervision and facilities in two institutions;
- graduate with an international qualification that is recognised around the world.
You can apply to this program as a new or currently enrolled student, whether you're enrolled at UTS or a partner institution.
UTS research partner universities
UTS has established Collaborative Doctoral Research Degree Program agreements with a number of international partner universities across Asia, the Americas and Europe. Many of these agreements are with institutions that are also Key Technology Partners (KTP) of UTS.
Please contact the Graduate Research School for further information on current agreements and application process.
