Our outdoor venues are versatile and can be used as a standalone function space for events such as cocktail parties and movie screenings, or can be used to add a bit of variation to your meeting, conference or seminar as a breakout space.
Alumni Green
Inspired by some of the world’s great public spaces, the UTS Alumni Green creates a welcoming outdoor space at the heart of the campus. Alumni Green is divided into several areas that include a large 1200m² grassed lawn, a Garden space that provides shade and a range of seating areas, and a paved area that sits in the middle of the Green which is often used for ceremonial events.
Alumni Green is situated in the middle of the Broadway precinct which makes it a perfect spot to use for your special events or as a breakout space for catering.
UTS Building 2 – Rooftop Terrace
Located on the level 17 rooftop of our newest building, is a large open terrace space which can accommodate up to 166 people. The space comes as a blank canvas ready to be used for your event. The space provides northern views over the UTS campus towards Sydney’s CBD.
Located just off the Terrace is a 20-seat boardroom with audiovisual capabilities and a small kitchenette.

Moore Park Terrace
Our Moore Park Terrace is located in our new sport and exercise science building on the corner of Moore Park Road and Driver Avenue. The Terrace has views over Paddington and the CBD.
This building is a 5-minute light rail trip from Central station and is located just next to the Entertainment Quarter. The Terrace has level access to collaborative classrooms, boardrooms and a small kitchenette.
