Inclinometer

Da Vinci’s measuring instruments reflect his need for accuracy as a drainage and canal designer, architect and engineer.
His inclinometer uses a plumb bob fixed in a rigid frame and suspended above a
concentric scale to determine the degrees of incline of a slope, road or the excavation for a canal.
