Thesis Topic: Professional service implementation
Supervisor: Prof. S. Charlie Benrimoj (School of Pharmacy, UTS)
The move by community pharmacy to deliver professional pharmacy services is fraught with challenges. Despite the development of services, and an awareness and desire to deliver, the profession has struggled with the process of implementation. To aid the process the emerging disciplines of implementation science and knowledge translation are being utilised and applied to community pharmacy. A Framework for the Implementation of Services in Pharmacy (FISpH) has been developed, which will be used as a base for design, delivery and evaluation of implementation programs.
