Accolades for Ying's commitment to the quantum community

Distinguished Professor Mingsheng Ying, Research Director of the UTS Centre for Quantum Software and Information, is under the spotlight as this month’s Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) member to highlight his unique scientific achievements and professional affiliations in the quantum computing community.
Specializing in AI applications of quantum computing and quantum programming and verification, Professor Ying is actively involved in research collaborations with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Tsinghua University, and was recently appointed as Co-Editor-In-Chief of ACM Transactions on Quantum Computing (TQC).
Professor Ying shared his thoughts on the future directions of quantum technology with the ACM to discuss the hypothesis of the universe as a quantum computer, advances in quantum computing hardware and software, and the importance of developing a verified quantum software stack for future quantum computers.
