Everything we learn here is relevant to modern day pharmacy practice
“After completing a Bachelor of Science majoring in Neuroscience and Biology at ANU, the best way for me to pursue my interest in pharmacology was to do a degree in pharmacy. The patient-interaction which the pharmacy profession offers also appealed to me. As well as being interested in health, I wanted a profession where I would constantly be learning new things”.
“After hearing about the innovative course offered at UTS, I decided that UTS was where I wanted to study. Everything we learn here is relevant to modern day pharmacy practice and the fact that the course is practice-based really attracted me to studying here. I was also very keen to be a part of the first cohort of Master of Pharmacy students to graduate from UTS”.
“For many of our subjects we have guest lecturers from the industry presenting on their respective fields of expertise. During a general week, we will dispense scripts, counsel patients, do experiments in labs, listen to guest lectures and practitioner teachers, give presentations to the class, and do several problem-based learning tasks”.
“The UTS Master of Pharmacy is an excellent degree to study as there are so many pathways you can go down after graduation. The course is ideal in that it is future-focused and prepares us for the best possible options for career pathways”.
