Congratulations to the winners of the UTS Startups Awards and UTS Venture Day 2022!
The UTS Startups Awards and UTS Venture Day embody the 2022 UTS Startups Festival theme 'Convince the world'. From 44 semi-finalists making it through the heats, these 12 startups convinced the judges and will share in over $95,000 worth of cash and prizes from community partners including UTS Business School, ASTRON, Bader Capital, Bishop & Fang, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, espresso, Gilbert + Tobin, GLMR, Kazacos Foundation, Lawpath, and Telstra.

Winner: Maslow - a mobile platform that makes it as easy as possible to coordinate care and therapy in the home.
Kazacos Prize in Entrepreneurship
Social Enterprise Winner: Bearhug Pallet Wraps - the world's first sharable, reusable pallet wraps.
Early Stage Winner: Walking Tall - a preventative walking aid delivering stability & balance.
UTS Business School Dean's Award
Social Justice Winner: Refilled - on a mission to prevent 100 million single-use plastic bottles from ending up in our oceans or landfill.
Technology Adoption Winner: NetNada- an AI/ML powered software automating the analysis of business carbon emissions/sustainability,
Female Entrepreneur Winner: Coverhero - protect you by protecting your income.
Bader Capital, Bishop and Fang Venture Day Prize
Winner: Compass IoT - using data from cars to help transport professionals build better, safer cities.
Gilbert & Tobin Prize
Winner: SALVGE - using native Australian plants and food waste to dye clothing, eliminating the negative impact of synthetic dyes.
Astron Award for Best Market Traction
Winner: Maslow - a mobile platform that makes it as easy as possible to coordinate care and therapy in the home.

Best Ideas and Early-stage Winner: Builder.Ninja - an estimating, ordering and scheduling app for builders.
Most Inspiring Winner: Craft Club - a craft kit business providing modern and fresh designs for people wanting to start a new, creative hobby.
Community Morale Winner: Export Connect - practical and tailored export advice.
Startup of the Year Winner: Urban Plant Growers - empower everyday people to grow their own food using innovative hydroponic smart gardens and grow lights.
