Is it just us or are these line-ups looking hot?! The famed South by Southwest® (SXSW) Festival makes its Sydney debut on the 15th of October and there are lots of ways for the UTS community to get involved.
Creators, artists and techies – unite! The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) campus and surrounds are gearing up for a week-long celebration of the very best in music, screen, gaming, technology and innovation.
SXSW Sydney™ has selected UTS as its Education Partner, acknowledging the university’s long history of inspiring the next generation of innovators and influencers.
Stellar line up
Keep on the lookout for SXSW Sydney™ panels, workshops and activations, which will pop up throughout campus. There are ample opportunities for students, staff and alumni to participate in the conference programming and events.
From a deep dive into how we’ll learn to live and work with robots, to exploring the next 60,000 years of design, don’t miss a single session.

UTS House is at the centre of SXSW Sydney activity, hosting a selection of panel discussions, workshops, networking events and talks from leading academics, industry professionals and experts.
Located in the UTS Business School on the Goods Line at the heart of Tech Central, UTS House will be a showcase of innovation and emerging ideas.
Drop in between 9.30 and 11am from Monday, 16 October to Friday, 20 October for a free cuppa courtesy of our Precinct Partners, Central Place Sydney, and stay to discover future trends and emerging technology!
