UTS Global Goals Month Photo Competition
The competition is open to all University of Technology Sydney (UTS) students, staff and alumni, and UTS College students. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Capture how you view the world and its connection to achieving one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Competition theme:
Your entry should relate to 1 or more of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Entry conditions:
- Your image file must be named with your Student or Staff ID, First and Last Name and Image Title, and SDG number/s, e.g: 12345678_Tom_Lui_GoldenSunset_SDG15
- The submitted image should ideally be in landscape format with a minimum pixel dimension of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD: 1080p image resolution)
- Saved as JPEG or PNG
- Image needs to be relevant to the competition theme
- One (1) entry per person
Entry submission deadline: Friday 29 September 2023, 11:59 pm
Judging
Formal judging will be conducted by a judging panel, which will include:
- Danielle McCartney – UTS Head of Sustainability
- Zach Khamhing – President of the UTS Photography Society
- Sara Oscar – Photography lecturer, UTS School of Design
Winners will be announced on Friday 6 October.
Shortlisted images will be displayed on UTS Sustainability Facebook page, as well as, be exhibited on the Broadway screens during Global Goals Month 2024.
