EmpowerHer@Work: Unleashing the Potential of Diversity is an engaging workshop centered around the critical mission of SDG Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.

By focusing on introspection, storytelling and dialogue, this workshop aims to foster a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that surround multicultural women in workplace settings, while providing a platform for participants to share their invaluable insights.

Our interactive sessions will delve into various dimensions of gender equity in the workplace, encouraging attendees to explore the dynamics within their respective units at UTS. By drawing upon personal experiences, anecdotes, and observations, participants will contribute to a collective discussion aimed at unraveling barriers, recognizing successes, and envisioning a more inclusive future.

Key Workshop Highlights:

  • Sharing Experiences: Participants will have the opportunity to openly share their own encounters, both positive and challenging, in their units. This will create a rich tapestry of perspectives that will drive the conversation forward.
  • Identifying Opportunities: Through guided activities, we will identify potential areas of improvement within UTS, discussing actionable strategies to enhance gender equity and inclusivity.
