Jumbunna Tutoring for Accademic Success 'JTAS' program is one of our key offerings to our students here at Jumbunna.

What is JTAS?

JTAS offers Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students access to regular supplementary tuition throughout the teaching session. Our qualified tutors are dedicated to identifying and addressing your individual academic needs, helping you thrive at UTS.

Apply for JTAS 

To be eligible for JTAS, you must be:

  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (able to provide a Confirmation of Aboriginality/UTS Statutory Declaration) 
  • Enrolled in and Undergraduate or Postgraduate course at UTS
  • Assessed as requiring additional assitance to achieve your academic goals

Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students are invited to apply online. Applications are now open for Autumn 2025.
