Congratulations to Alizeh Zaidi who has been awarded the 2021 Plato Investment Management Scholarship for Women in Finance. One scholarship is awarded every year to one of our best and brightest female students entering into UTS Finance Honours program.
We would also like to thank Plato Investment Management for their continued support which has enabled us to provide this scholarship. The aim of this scholarship is to help address the gender imbalance in the finance industry by promoting the advancement of women in finance.
Throughout her life Alizeh has strived to work hard and achieve her best in all her endeavours. She was the recipient of the DUX award in high school and was also awarded the senior student commitment award. She plans to retain that drive this year, putting all her effort into each honours subject and her honours thesis. Her career goal is to work in portfolio management. To aid her progression towards this goal, this year she hopes to develop her skills in data analytics.
She is honoured to receive this scholarship and thankful for the opportunity to learn new skills and cultivate new friendships this year!
