Developing medical technology solutions
UTS and Stryker will work together to train leading spine surgeons to use cutting edge technology and improve patient outcomes.
The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) has partnered with leading medical technology company, Stryker, to establish the Enabling Technologies Education Hub for research, training and education in spine, cranial and trauma surgery.
The Hub will empower learning and collaboration between industry, the tertiary education sector, and clinicians through access to Stryker’s global pipeline of current and emerging technologies in an academic workshop environment.
“The Enabling Technologies Education Hub demonstrates our determination to collaborate with researchers and clinicians to develop high-quality, customised health and medical technology solutions,” said Maurice Ben- Mayor, President of Stryker South Pacific.
