Outstanding UTS Law students celebrated at annual Law Awards ceremony
UTS Law recently celebrated its most outstanding students at the annual Law Awards ceremony on Wednesday, 7 June.
Focused on both academic and extra-curricular merit, the awards ceremony recognises the ongoing dedication of high-achieving law students. Students in attendance were applauded for participation in the UTS Law Mooting Competition Program, Australian Law Students’ Association Competitions and First Year Mentoring Program.
Furthermore, students were recognised for receiving prizes and scholarships that reflect their committed academic excellence. UTS Law prizes and scholarships are made possible by the generous support of our donor community.
Professor Lesley Hitchens, Dean, officially welcomed guests, as well as this year’s revered key-note speaker, Ms Caroline Vu.
A proud UTS Alumna, Caroline graduate from UTS in 2007 with a Bachelor of Laws and is now the Chief Impact Officer of Impact Investment Group, a leading Australian impact investment funds manager. Caroline returned to UTS to imbue exceptional students with some of her own hard-earned wisdom.
