Telehealth at the heart of COVID response
A national study of clinicians and patients will examine use of telehealth for cardiovascular disease during the pandemic.
The global pandemic has put telehealth at the forefront of health care, particularly in the management and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
A new national survey of clinicians, launched by UTS Health researcher Associate Professor Sally Inglis, will gather their views and experiences on the use of telehealth for cardiovascular care during the pandemic – and beyond.
“The virus is an opportunity to really identify the issues – remember, we've had to roll this out very rapidly – and look at how we can address those so telehealth is an option for people beyond the pandemic,” says Associate Professor Inglis.
