Public Health gains a team of expert staff

The UTS Faculty of Health welcomes five new staff members, joining the Public Health team. 

  • Professor Andrew Hayen will be the Course Coordinator for the Master of Public Health and he will teach into this program in Biostatistics and  Epidemiology and Public Health.
  • Dr Deb Debono, who is currently teaching into the Master of Health Services Management and the Bachelor of Health Science.
  • Dr Sungwon Chang will be a senior lecturer in Public Health after the completion of her UTS Chancellor’s Post-Doctoral Fellowship. Sungwon is teaching into the Bachelor Health Science.
  • Dr Jane Frawley will commence in November as a lecturer in Public Health and will teach in a range of public health areas.
  • Dr Melissa Kang will teach in the Public Health discipline area, initially in the areas of women's health and reproductive health

Acknowledgement of Country

UTS acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the Boorooberongal people of the Dharug Nation, the Bidiagal people and the Gamaygal people, upon whose ancestral lands our university stands. We would also like to pay respect to the Elders both past and present, acknowledging them as the traditional custodians of knowledge for these lands.
