Health staff recognised in Learning and Teaching Awards
From empowering pharmacists of the future to become medication experts in multidisciplinary teams, to the generation of a paradigm shift in learning and teaching for Health online program management, numerous Faculty of Health staff were recognised for their remarkable work at the 2022 Vice-Chancellor’s Learning and Teaching Awards Ceremony.
The annual ceremony recognises the most outstanding contributions to learning and teaching in the past 12 months. These awards recognise the importance of learning and teaching for both undergraduate and postgraduate students within the framework of the UTS model of global practice-oriented education.
Helen Benson received the Individual Teaching award for her exemplary and sustained innovation in learning, teaching and curriculum innovation while staff members Lynn Sinclair, Joanne Travaglia, Deborah Debono, Gail Forrest and Michelle Hrlec shared the Team learning.futures award for their outstanding contribution to learning, teaching and curriculum design that embodies the ethos of the UTS learning.futures strategy.
Academic staff members Tracy Levett-Jones, Jacqui Pich, Natalie Govind, Samantha Jakimowicz, Jane Maguire, Fiona Orr, Sue Dean and Michelle Kelly all received a UTS Learning and Teaching citation with their outstanding contributions to student learning at UTS recognised.
