ARCCIM Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellow shows exciting promise and output
Dr Romy Lauche, the newly appointed CPDRF at the Australian Research Centre in Complementary and Integrative Medicine (ARCCIM), has been busy establishing her collaborative networks and producing impressive research output in her short time since arriving at UTS. Since her appointment only 4 months ago, Dr Lauche has managed to work up an impressive research output including 15 peer-review manuscript accepted or currenlty in press in high profile journals such as Maturitas and Preventive Medicine as well as another 18 under review/submission.
“Joining such a research-intensive and active Centre as ARCCIM has been an inspiration and has already enabled me to collaborate with a wide cast of highly respected researchers at UTS, across Australia and overseas," say Dr Lauche. "The ARCCIM Research Program, of which my current Fellowship Project is a part, is broad and rich enough to accommodate all sorts of opportunities for someone like me with an expertise in epidemiology, statistical analyses and systematic reviews. The ARCCIM Program draws upon a vast range of large databases and my Fellowship work is analysing data from the 45 and Up Study at the Sax Institute.”
