The Lucy Mentoring Program connects women and gender diverse people studying engineering or technology at UTS to industry professionals for one-on-one mentoring.
Lucy Mentoring Program
Get connected
This mentoring opportunity is open to all cis- and trans- women and gender diverse people studying undergraduate degrees or Masters by Coursework at UTS Faculty of Engineering and IT.
In connecting to industry through mentoring, students build career confidence, industry networks and knowledge, increase motivation to study and pursue a career in engineering or IT and get access to role models.
An initiative of the NSW Government, Lucy Mentoring began in 2010 at UTS with 12 students and has been delivered every year by Women in Engineering and IT. In 2024 the program paired 133 students with industry mentors.
Thank you to our 2024 program partners for contributing to the sustainability of the Lucy Mentoring Program.
