Altmetric training is designed to help you utilise Altmetrics interface, which tracks online engagement, revealing where and how your research is making a difference. This training enables you to monitor the influence of your research outputs and effectively demonstrate their societal impact. Understand the full scope of your research influence beyond citations.

This session will demonstrate how to track a researcher’s publications and gather data about their impact on academia and the broader community.

The session will cover:

  • What Research Impact is, and the different types of impact.
  • What bibliometrics and altmetrics are, and how to interpret them.
  • How to locate different metrics to track academic, social, and economic impact.
