Congratulations to five of our academics who have been recognised for their outstanding achievements in research and teaching and learning.
Two of our researchers Dr Wei Wei and Professor Zhenguo Huang received awards at the 2022 UTS Research Excellence Awards. It's an amazing result for these 2 outstanding researchers in the School. The awards are listed below:
- Professor Zhenguo Huang was awarded the Research Leadership and Development Award.
- Dr Wei Wei received the Early Career Research Excellence Award.
Three of our academics Dr Kasun Wijayaratna, Dr Michelle Zeibots and Dr Cecilia Gravina Da Rocha received citations at the 2022 UTS Teaching and Learning Awards. It’s a great result for these educators who are passionate about the learning experience of our students. The awards are listed below:
- Dr Cecilia Gravina da Rocha was awarded a 2022 Learning Futures citation for “Honing early years civil engineering students as all rounded professionals”.
- Dr Michelle Zeibots and Dr Kasun Wijayaratna received a 2022 course innovation and enhancement citation “For improving student learning in the discipline of transport engineering”.
