Fixing up our understanding of renovations
Professor Sara Wilkinson from UTS School of Built Environment recently spent time on ABC Radio's Nightline show, discussing the cost and time involved in home renovations. As the ABC site notes, "Renovating your home can be a whole lot harder than it looks on TV. On ‘reality’ reno shows the work appears to be done in an instant but in real life it’s so much more drawn out and complicated. And on top of that it can be one of the biggest financial decisions you can make in a lifetime."
The panel also included Adjunct Professor to the school, Michael Er, as well as architect and UTS Masters graduate David Springett.
