All Hands on Deck: a cross-disciplinary symposium
Work, skill and material production at a time of human and environmental calamity.
Connecting scholars, thinkers and makers across disciplines, occupations and geographical boundaries, to address urgent questions related to the interrelationship between labour, skill and technical knowledge, within the shifting landscape of work and climate change.
This symposium is largely an in-person event (with some flexibility built in, because the world is unpredictable). In addition to the in-person sessions, there are dedicated "zoom-only" online sessions in the evening, to include international participants who are not travelling. Many sessions will be audio recorded, and some sessions will be graphically recorded by Sam Wallman.
Please refer to the Symposium schedule for specific start times and room locations.
