Margot Nash documentary The Silences headed to cinemas in April
Congratulations to UTS:Communication senior lecturer Margot Nash on her documentary The Silences, which will show in cinemas in April. The film is described as "a mother’s story of lost opportunities and grief; a father’s story of work, mental illness and war; and a daughter’s exploration of early childhood and the 'silences' of the past that resonate in the present".
The movie opens on 28 April at the Hayden Orpheum (Cremorne, Sydney) and Cinema Nova (Carlton, Melbourne), with a 'Meet the Filmmaker' screening at the Orpheum, Cremorne on 27 April at 6.30pm.
Also screening on 29 April at the Arc, Canberra; 30 April at the Regal, Newcastle; and 10, 16-19 and 22 May at the Mercury, Adelaide.
