What are the admission requirements?

What are the English language requirements for entry?
English language requirements for each course are listed on the respective course page under ‘Admission Requirements’.
If you’ve studied overseas you may need to demonstrate your English proficiency by completing an English language test or program recognised by UTS. These requirements may apply to you, even if you are not an international student.

When do sessions (semesters) start?
There are three sessions per year:
- Autumn (generally starts in February or March)
- Spring (generally starts in July or August)
- Summer (generally starts in November)

How do I know if I am an international or domestic student?
You are an international student if you are not: an Australia citizen, New Zealand citizen, or do not have full Australian Permanent Resident status.

What are the course fees?
To understand the course fees, please use our Fee Calculator. This will allow you to enter details specific to your circumstances (such as when you intend to begin studying and whether you’re a domestic or international student). You’ll then be provided with the fee per credit point and total credit points required, which can be multiplied to understand the full cost of the course.
