Dr Graham Massey
Course Director
Graham has research interests in marketing implementation, focusing on cross-functional working relationships (CFRs) between Marketing Managers and Sales Managers, and between Marketing Managers and R&D Managers during new product development projects. Graham has published in a number of leading international journals, published various marketing case studies, and Working Papers via Penn State’s Institute for the Study of Business Markets, and the UTS Marketing Discipline Group. Graham has also presented his work at various international conferences.
Dr Valeria Noguti
Lecturer
With undergraduate degrees in IT and Management, Valeria has diverse experience, having worked in large companies in industries such as banking, magazine publishing, and plastics. Upon completing a PhD degree in Decision Sciences at INSEAD (France), Valeria has focused on researching and teaching consumer behaviour. She is currently working on research programs concentrated on the impact of social media on consumer behaviour. She not only brings her broad expertise to class, but also bridges the relationship between academia and industry through strong links with professionals and companies who get involved with student projects and guest talks. This synergy has consistently created rich and relevant learning experiences for students.
Dr Nigel Bairstow
Lecturer
Nigel is an academic practitioner with an impressive experience of working in industry for 25 years and teaching full time for nearly 10 years. He held marketing roles in large multinational companies including Alcan Aluminium, Komatsu, Atlas Copco, and 3M. He was a winner of two 3M Global Marketing awards. Nigel moved to full time academic role in 2004, and his experience to date includes teaching a range of business subjects in a number of different universities in Australia and Asia. He completed his PhD in Marketing in 2011 which focused on Information Technology companies and how their channels of distribution evolved over time. Business to Business marketing continues to be Nigel’s research and consulting interest.
