Accounting PHD graduate stories

2022
Dr Kristina Vojvoda completed her UTS Accounting-related PHD in 2022 and went on to secure lecturer positions at Western Sydney University before moving to the University of New South Wales in Aug 2022. Kristina became an accomplished researcher who published in highly regarded journals, including Accounting and Finance. Recognised within the wider academic community for her significant and sustained contributions to student learning and mentoring other accounting academics, gaining a range of significant teaching awards:
- 2021 Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) Award for Innovation and Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
- 2021 UTS Vice-Chancellor’s Teaching by a Casual or Sessional Staff Member High Commendation Award.
- 2021 UTS Business Undergraduate Top 20 Teachers Achievement Award for tutorials (40+ students).
- 2021 UTS Business School Achievement Award (Teaching and Learning).
- 2020 UTS Vice-Chancellor’s Learning and Teaching Citation.
