Medical advances mean that people are living longer and consequently have a higher likelihood of surviving longer with illness. Our research contributes to improving the quality of life of people living with life-limiting illnesses.

Who will benefit?
Palliative care is not just end-of-life care. It is also to improve the quality of life of people living with life-limiting illnesses. All Australians with life-limiting illnesses may benefit from our research.
Finding solutions to better manage symptoms experienced by people who need palliative care will improve their quality of life and wellbeing, and may also have a positive impact on their families and carers.
Your donation will help us to run clinical trials that research options for improved management of symptoms using medicines and other interventions.
