Overview
A growing global population, the emergence of new energy-intensive industries and increases in environmental pollution are all contributing to human-induced climate change and leading towards an energy crisis.
Part of the solution to this energy crisis is the rapid adoption of green technology whether it be for transport, environmental remediation or energy production.
The Centre for Green Technology was established to develop novel technologies for future clean fuels, vehicle emissions measurement, and environmental decontamination.
Our focus areas include:
- Vehicle emissions and air quality
- Renewable energy generation and storage
- Waste valorisation and environmental decontamination
