The world of business is changing and it's the new young graduates who know where it's going.
“I love the idea of global connections and interactions between different cultures, which International Business allowed me to explore. I also feel that the global aspect of business is increasingly important in our rapidly globalizing world.
"I think that what distinguishes UTS students in this field are the unique experiences that are available to them. Not only did I go to Germany as a part of my International Studies degree, I also had the opportunity to take an amazing class that took us to visit Korea and Japan and interact with completely foreign cultures in a business environment. I think this is a fundamental experience that not many other students would have. It really sets UTS apart.
"I have a few career options thanks to the degree, but my initial plan is to go head first into running my own internet business, something that I can take global from the get-go, and put my skills from my degree into practice. The world of business is changing and it's the new young graduates who know where it's going. Corporate social responsibility and the triple-bottom-line will shape global business more in the future than the old profit-first perspectives of the past.”
