Asian Pacific Research Conference and WHO Western Pacific Regional Office Meetings

The first Asian-Pacific research conference was attended, held by the University of Philippines and partners. The purpose of this is to further the regional work of WHO and WHO CCs as well as partner institutions relating to the areas of:

  • Regional research network and priorities, operational work;
  • Post-mapping: WPR WHO CC and Partner network to take further action on faculty development and academic quality, standards, shared resources;
  • Updates on key matters by individual institutions; and
  • Updates; next informal meeting time/place.

Other informal WPRO WHOCC meeting were held in the WHO WPR Office Manila:

  • WHO Human Resources for Health MDS meeting;
  • WHO Asia Pacific Emergency and Disaster Nursing Network meeting
